Filming Information
Due to circumstances beyond the control of Ava Zinn and the recent weather conditions in Fort Wayne, Indiana, filming for Caprice & Ella: The Movie is currently being suspended until further notice. Unfortunately, the staff and crew cannot predict if or when filming will resume. However, we strongly encourage the actors to utilize a green screen/chroma keying their scenes. We realize this may not work for everyone and if that should be the case, production may be cancelled altogether. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Filming was scheduled to begin from June 1, 2023 until October 31, 2023 and it does not look like that will be accomplished on time.
Audition Information
As of 3:15 a.m. Eastern Time on January 4, 2023 (Ava Zinn’s 40th birthday), the roles have been completely filled and everyone is cast. After seven months of auditions, the auditions are closed.

We will also have an open call that will be held. They are scheduled for Saturday, July 10 and 17, 2022 from 9 am to 12 pm and Sunday, July 11 and 18, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Aeverine Zinn Digital Media Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Due to the move of the production facility of Aeverine Zinn Digital Media Group, the open call scheduled for July 2022 is canceled and was rescheduled.
The open call is rescheduled for Saturday, November 5 and 12, 2022 from 9am to 12Noon at the Aeverine Zinn Digital Media Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
We are still seeking roles of Jenna Zinn (pending), Ivyann Ozbourne, Indiana Department of Child Services Social Worker, Neighbor #1 (pending), Classmates #1, #2, and #3 (pending), Alisan Zinn, Leah Zinn, Michael Zinn (pending), Waiter from Savery Grill and Pet-friendly vegetarian steakhouse, Police Officer (pending), and BrightPoint Head Start Employee.
After everyone is cast, Ava Zinn, will host a virtual table read after Thanksgiving 2022 no later than February 14, 2023. Those who won their roles at the auditions will get an invitation while the others will not.
