As many of you know, the air quality in Fort Wayne and the recent rain storms over the last few weeks have significantly affected the filming process of Caprice & Ella: The Movie as well as ongoing health issues I’ve been facing

Additionally, with recent retirements of a few staff/crew/cast and having to find a resolution as quickly as possible has become clear that judging from the table reads, things were not going to work out with what is available at this time.

The recent developments in the weather conditions have given me as the director and executive producer of this film to temporarily suspend production of the film. Filming was scheduled to begin June 1, 2023 and so far very little progress has been made due to the inability to find cast members despite best efforts.

Also factoring has to be the fact that there have been ongoing challenges. Because of those issues, I have decided to suspend production of Caprice & Ella: The Movie effective immediately.

The suspension of filming of Caprice & Ella: The Movie are the unfortunate result of sudden, unexpected weather, casting, and economical-related circumstances that were conditions outside of our control and for which the continued duration is still unknown. As a result of these unfortunate and unforeseeable circumstances, we are notifying the cast, staff, and crew that the project is on hold for the second time in two years.

However, the production of season five of Caprice & Ella is in progress and finding a balance with my commitments have been beyond my control.

Three weeks ago, I recently began walking without a cane after sustaining injuries I suffered on November 1, 2022 and have began recovering since June 1, 2023.

I will let everybody know when filming and production will resume, if and when that happens.
