You may have noticed a small graphic at the bottom of the screen. “4K Ultra High Definition Where Available”

If you own a 4K Ultra HD (UHD) TV, you will be able to watch Caprice & Ella on your UHD TV and all you need is the YouTube app on the UHD TV.

When Aeverine Zinn Digital Media made the move to 720p HD in 2007, and later 1080i in 2012, we wanted to make sure consumers were getting the highest quality video possible. Now we are in 2160p UHD.

Of course, you can still watch Caprice & Ella in 720p or 1080i HD.

Watch Caprice & Ella in HD or 4K

All episodes of Caprice & Ella are available in 480p standard definition (SD) and in 720p/1080i high definition (HD). However, since Caprice 112 – Wet Food Addiction, Caprice & Ella is available in 4K 1440p/2160p Ultra High Definition (UHD). It all depends on whether HD or UHD playback is available on your device. We’re working hard to expand our offering of HD and UHD episodes across your favorite devices.

Things to note:

  • Playback in HD is available for Safari browsers.
  • Sometimes, you can watch the HD/UHD version of Caprice & Ella on a device or browser that doesn’t support HD/UHD playback. You can still watch the title in lower quality on that device, or watch HD/UHD from a different compatible device.

What is HD?

HD (or High Definition) refers to higher quality video than SD (or Standard Definition). On HD, the picture will be sharper than on SD. On YouTube, HD means a video has 720–1080 lines of vertical resolution (shown as 720p or 1080p in the quality settings of the YouTube player). Compare this to 360 or 480, which are typical for SD.

What is UHD?

4K UHD (or Ultra High Definition) refers to a higher quality of video than HD. On UHD, the picture will be sharper than on HD. On YouTube, UHD means a video has 2160–3840 lines of vertical resolution (compared to 720 or 1080, which are typical for HD). You can see video quality details within the video player.

Watch Caprice & Ella in High Definition

As all Caprice & Ella episodes are available in HD, you can select Settings  in the Menu bar at the bottom of the web player (computer) or More  on your mobile device, and change the quality to 720p or 1080i. If for some unforeseen a Caprice & Ella episode is not available in HD, your video will play in SD instead.

Whenever available, you can watch HD quality movies using the latest version of YouTube on:

  • iPhone and iPad
  • Most HD capable Android devices, such as the YouTube Signature Devices
  • Select 2013 and newer smart TV models
  • Android TV/Google TV
  • Chromecast
  • Apple TV
  • Xbox One
  • PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3
  • Roku

Watch Caprice & Ella in 4K Ultra High Definition

You can watch Caprice & Ella in 4K UHD using the YouTube app on eligible Smart TVs and Android TVs, or with a Chromecast Ultra (with 4K displays capable of HDCP 2.2).

UHD playback requires a faster internet connection than HD or SD videos as YouTube needs to stream much more data. To watch Caprice & Ella in UHD, you’ll need a consistent download speed of at least 15 megabits per second. Without strong bandwidth, the episode may play in HD or SD quality.
