After a 44 hour agonizing disappearance, Caprice is finally back at home as of 5:18 am EDT July 31, 2022.

Ava Zinn:

I want to say thank you to all volunteers who have helped bring this ordeal to a happy ending after 44 hours. Caprice walked in the front door at my home in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As of 5:18 AM July 31, 2022, Caprice Haley Zinn is back home with Gabriella Lauren “Ella” Zinn and Ava Zinn.

I would like to say thank you to all of the volunteers that made this reunion with Caprice and myself possible.

I also want to thank Humane Fort Wayne and Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control to some extent as they got alerted when Caprice went missing as well as the Fort Wayne Police Department for their assistance to an extent.

This compares with #BabyJessicaRescue from 1987. Caprice went through the most difficult 44 hours as I had not slept and ate very little. I am forever grateful that Fort Wayne is a damn good pet friendly community and have been kind to me since May 14, 2018.
