In the conclusion of the four-part episode, just as things between Ava and Breeanna go smoothly, “a few troublemakers” confront Ava and decide to criticize her housekeeping skills despite her best efforts (meaning Ava can only do so much after her injury on 11/1/2022 and doing so without Ava aggravating her back, legs, or feet; thus Ava needing more rest than usual) rather than attempt to work with Ava, at least it was the case from a maintenance guy at Golfview Apartments, who was also rude and caught Ava off guard and effectively retaliated by complaining to the Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control over sanitary conditions that turned out to be false 24 hours after Ava and the maintenance guy got into a nasty confrontation that could have resulted in Ava being sent to the emergency room of Lutheran or Parkview Hospital (for likely a heart attack or high blood sugar episode), the Allen County (IN) Jail for defending her home and following the “Stand Your Ground” law, or worse–the dreaded Allen County (IN) Morgue (meaning Ava’s death). Three hours after the confrontation with the maintenance guy at Golfview, Ava goes to her new family physician with her daughter-in-law (Jenna Zinn, MD, DVM–and yes, she officially became a medical doctor and veterinarian in January 2023 at the age of 24) strongly recommending Ava grant permission to move to the ground/first floor (an error Golfview admits after the fact). Though Ava is a little bit relieved, the damage to Ava after four months has been done yet Ava finally goes off and lets off some steam while Breeanna, Karly, Rachael, Donna, Maribel, Caprice, and Ella try to calm Ava down, yet Rachael is only successful and convinces Ava to walk away for the time being and go to Copper Canyon and Belmont Beverage on Saint Joe Center Road, with Ava adding Long Island Iced Tea to her rotation of alcoholic drinks of beer and vodka.
